Refugee Assistance Partners of New Jersey is a 501 (c) (3) public charity (ID # 82-1634333).

We are an interfaith partnership of communities and non-affiliated individuals concerned for the plight of refugees who have been resettled in and around Union County, New Jersey. Our mission is to help them find self-sufficiency while safe-guarding their dignity and uniqueness.
 

Since our founding in 2015, we have:

​

• helped over 350 refugees from the Middle East, Africa and Central America;
   

• assisted individuals and families - from elders to newborns - maintain housing, adjust to school, learn English and other life skills, secure employment, and more;
   

• worked to dispel unfounded fear and distrust of refugees by distributing accurate information, holding public events, and sharing our experiences.
